Becky Washel

Color Guard Technician - Flag

From Harleysville, Pennsylvania, Becky has been involved in the marching arts since 2009. She started her color guard career with Souderton Area High School’s Big Red Marching Band, where she was a member for four years. While there she also spun in Souderton’s indoor color guard for two years, and played with their indoor drumline for two years. Upon graduating in 2013, she attended Shepherd University where she was a member of the Ram Band for three years, spending one year with the drumline and two with the color guard. Becky continued her love of performing by spinning with independent indoor groups including The Classics, Westshoremen Senior Guard, and Black Watch.

Becky now resides in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Since moving she has had the opportunity to teach color guard with a variety of groups including Smithsburg High School Indoor Color Guard, Martinsburg High School Indoor Color Guard & Marching Band, Musselman High School Indoor Color Guard & Marching Band, Washington High School Marching Band, and Hedgesville High School Marching Band.

When she’s not at practice, you’ll find Becky crocheting, spending time with her friends, or lounging around the house with her husband and their small herd of pets (2 cats and 2 dogs).
