Percussion Clinic and March-a-Thon

Come meet up for an outdoor, socially-distanced percussion experience and help us fundraise at the same time! The event will include a full battery (Snare, Quads, Bass, and Cymbals) and front ensemble (Marimba and Vibes). Attendees are encouraged to bring their own equipment if available.

About the Event

Come meet up for an outdoor, socially-distanced percussion clinic playing alongside our 2021 Staff and Members. Participating attendees can choose from paying the $25 clinic fee OR participating in our March-a-Thon fundraiser in-lieu of paying the clinic fee.  Participants can take part in either a drumline (Snare, Quads, Bass, and Cymbals) or front ensemble (Marimba and Vibes) experience.  Equipment is limited.  If participants have their own, they are encouraged to bring their own drum to maximize their instructional time.  

The March-a-Thon allows participants to receive donations from friends, family members, or businesses (etc) to sponsor you per each step taken during our clinic.  For example, if a sponsor bids $.01 per step and you take 7,000 steps during our clinic, that sponsor contributes $70 towards your March-a-Thon contributions.  This is an excellent fundraising opportunity for Old Line and an easy way for participants to attend without paying out of pocket.

Provided in the clinic will include:

- high-quality instructions from skilled educators

- digital skill builders and exercise packet

- skill group show and tell performance

OLPA will follow all current CDC and State Health Department policies as of the date of the clinic. All individuals will be required to complete a Liability Release form.  Meals will not be provided due to concerns surrounding COVID-19.  Members are encouraged to bring their water jug and paper bag lunch (if they so choose).
