Michael Seville

Percussion Technician - Snare

Michael was introduced to marching band and indoor percussion at a very young age as both his parents were, and still are, educators and instructors all over the Tri-State area. Michael is a 2012 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School where he was apart of their outdoor and indoor percussion ensembles for 4 years.

As a junior in high school, Michael also marched as the quad section leader for the 2011 Hawthorne Caballeros. At the end of that summer he received the Caballero Percussionist of the Year Award. Michael took the 2012 season off as he decided to enlist in the United States Army Reserve right out of high school where he would end up serving the next 6 years as a Human Resource Specialist.

In 2013 Michael jumped back into the Drum Corps world where he would join Fusion Core as a member for the 2013, 2014, and 2017 seasons. Additionally, he was a member of two Independent WGI groups, including United Percussion in 2015 and Matrix in 2016.

Michael has worked as an educator in DCA and WGI as well with groups such as the Bushwackers, Fusion Core, and Aftermath Percussion Ensemble. Additionally, he has been a designer and instructor for high schools in the Tri-State area for the past decade, and is currently the percussion instructor and drill designer for the James Buchanan High School Marching Band and Indoor Percussion.

Michael currently resides in Hagerstown with his wife Rachel and two dogs, and is excited to begin his journey with the Old Line team and continue to educate students in his local area!
