Tyler Easterling
Design Staff - Co-Front Ensemble Arranger
Tyler currently serves as a brass/front ensemble arranger at the Commandant’s Own, United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, where he has served since 2019.
Tyler has been writing winds and front ensemble music since 2009. He has since composed both original and arranged music for several Florida high school marching band and indoor percussion programs including: Escambia, Navarre, Choctawhatchee, Gulf Breeze, Pensacola, West Florida, and Pace. He has most recently worked as the front ensemble writer/arranger for Saint Martin Independent Percussion Ensemble and Newsome High School Percussion Ensemble.
Tyler is currently a bugler in the Commandant’s Own and played trumpet for both the 2012 Cavaliers and 2013 Carolina Crown. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the Florida State University in 2015 and his Associates Degree in Music from Pensacola State College in 2011. Alongside his education degree, Tyler participated in independent study of music composition under Dr. Michael Coleman at Pensacola State College, then under Dr. Evan Jones at the Florida State University. During his time at FSU he arranged competition music for the nationally recognized Florida State Trumpet Ensemble.
